Rectal Snares are ideal for treatment of polyps or abnormal growths in the lower pelvic colon out of the reach of fingers. The snare is designed in in a bayonet shape with strong handles allowing of optimal viewing of the proctoscopic field. The attached cannula is insulated for electrocoagulation treatment. The snare features a wire loop at the distal end for encompassing and treating various sizes of growths. The snares are available in different lengths to accommodate a wide range of cases.

Sims Rectal Speculum is ideal for investigating the lower rectum and anus. The instrument features two hinged fenestrated blades that can be opened by spring handles. A screw mechanism can then be used to lock the blades at the open position once in the rectum.

Insulated instruments feature a smooth, durable, non-conductive nylon coating for LEEP, LLETZ and other electrosurgical ob-gyn procedures. The blue nylon resists abrasion and provides excellent insulation. These instruments are fully autoclavable, and can be insulated however needed, including with exposure to the stainless steel in certain areas like tenaculum tips. Most instruments, including ones not shown insulated here, can be insulated for use in electrosurgical cases – please ask your sales representative or contact us for more information.
