Hibbs Osteotome

6-1/4" (16.0 cm) US Army Pattern Osteotome is a versatile instrument for use in manipulating of bone. This osteotome features a straight profile and can be used to cut bone or to carve out small pieces to allow access to more difficult to reach areas. Additionally this osteotome is crafted with a chisel type blade that can be used to scrape, clean or sculpt bone for a variety of surgical procedures. This instrument is available in three sizes 6.0, 12.0 and 18.0 mm.

straight, 8" (20.0 cm) Stille Pattern Gouge is uniquely suited for use in neurosurgical procedures that require cutting and prepping bone. This instrument features a handle that narrows to a slim neck and again widens again to create a funnel type blade. This gouge is prefect for scraping or scooping bone or even in creating holes in the bone itself. The curvature of the blade makes it well contoured to bone and facilitates the cutting process. Additionally this instrument is available six widths: 8.0 mm, 10.0 mm, 12.0 mm, 15.0 mm, 20.0 mm and 25.0 mm making it highly versatile and useful in a wide variety of surgical scenarios.

5-1/2" (14.0 cm) Hoke Osteotome is crafted for preparation and cutting of bone during neurosurgery. This instrument features a sturdy handle for ease in handling which then narrows at the neck and widens again into a blade. One potential use of this osteotome is to saw through the skull to increase access during surgery such as craniotomy. Additionally this instrument can be used to reshape bony areas. This osteotome is available in either a curved or straight profile in size sizes ranging from 3.0 mm to 16.0 mm making this a highly versatile instrument suitable for a number of surgical procedures.
