It features blue anodized titanium construction for more strength and less weight, and has an easily adjustable ratchet mechanism used to achieve the desired retraction. The titanium also makes this item non-magnetic.

A ratcheting mechanism with a large dial are used to set the claws at variable spreads and then bring them closer together.
